About me
Hi🌿, I'm Tom
Welcome, I’m Tom, a music composer, producer, and audio engineer based in the Netherlands, currently studying Mediamusic at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Enschede. I’ve worked on a diverse range of projects, including short films, commercials, light shows, podcasts, interactive game installations, orchestral compositions, and productions for pop/indie artists. I’ve also got to work with the team at Big Orange – The Audio Agency, where I contributed to projects such as audio tours, podwalks, voice-overs, leaders and sonic branding, art exhibitions, and more.I work across many styles and genres, adapting to the needs of each project. My specialty lies in organic and atmospheric music, combining rich analog synths, modern electronic sound design, and natural sounds such as rustling leaves, flowing rivers, trees, birds, and more. This blend makes for an immersive atmosphere that take listeners on a journey and add the perfect emotion to your project. My work is inspired by a wide range of artists and composers, including Jon Hopkins, Kiasmos, Jaron, Dodie, Arcane, John Powell, Alan Silvestri, and Debussy.I love telling stories through music and bringing projects to life, whether it’s for new media, film, games, television, art experiences, an orchestral piece, or a song you want to release.

"Komt Wel Goed is an intimate, raw and human film about two young adults who are stuck in life in completely different ways.
Saar is confronted with sexism and gender equality in the workplace on a daily basis, while Mark struggles with mental problems after losing his best friend to suicide.

Eden's Rabbit
My original composition Eden’s Rabbit won the 2024 Dynamedion Pitch, together with two fellow students. Our works were recorded live by a professional orchestra in Budapest, and we had the opportunity to attend the recording sessions.

Enschede lights-up
"Enschede Lights Up is een jaarlijks terugkerend evenement in de binnenstad van Enschede. Door verschillende technologieën worden meerdere kenmerkende locaties in de binnenstad op bijzondere wijze uitgelicht."For Enschede Lights Up 2024, I composed music for two distinct projects: Timelight, an interactive game installation created with Saxion students, and Infinity, an immersive light show featuring 5.1 surround sound music.

"Onder leiding van de internationaal onderscheiden Franse dirigent Nathanaël Iselin brengt Orkest Phion een openluchtconcert met werken van grootheden als Verdi en Puccini, maar ook met filmmuziek van Ennio Morricone, meeslepende muziek uit Romeo en Julia en hedendaagse Italiaanse hits."I won the composer pitch for the 2025 edition of Symphonic Summer. My original work Viva sette secoli was performed live by the amazing Phion Orchestra.

In het mooiste filmtheater van Enschede aan de Oude markt kan publiek terecht voor spraakmakende (inter-)nationale topfilms en aan de Langestraat zijn de meest bijzondere tentoonstellingen te bewonderen."I created a custom soundscape that played throughout the entire Museum Night 2025 at Concordia, featuring my original compositions alongside music by the artist (and my fellow student) Coatrack.

"The Beat is een uniek evenement en wedstrijd waarin Limburgse harmonieën, fanfares en brassbands worden uitgedaagd om op een innovatieve manier muziek te combineren met verschillende media. Samen de HaFaBra-wereld promoten en een breder publiek bereiken."Together with muziekvereniging St. Liduina & St. Cecilia, I developed a live show for the final of the first edition of The Beat, combining orchestra, live band, and electronic music into a story-driven 30-minute performance.

Homemade spring🌿
HOMEMADE SPRING is a side project through which I release my own music. My sound is rooted in atmosphere, minimalism, and ambience.I create immersive soundscapes built from organic foley, field recordings, and acoustic instruments, combined with modern sound design and analogue synthesizers. By embracing imperfections and tonal color, I aim to create a new world for the listener to drift into.
